LADY RAIDERS VOLLEYBALL DOMINATE CHATT. STATE, RAISE AWARENESS FOR BREAST CANCER

The Roane State Community College women's volleyball team delivered a powerful performance on Tuesday evening, October 8, defeating Chattanooga State in four sets. The match was dedicated to breast cancer awareness, with donations collected for the Susan Komen Fund.

The Lady Raiders showed their dominance throughout the match, winning in four sets with scores of 25-19, 26-24, 22-25, and 25-20. Solene Roussel led the offensive charge with an impressive 18 kills, while Frida Hoellger contributed 13 kills and Hannah Harnichar added 8. Haley Gray, Blair Dukes, and Kenlee Hayden played crucial roles in the back row, keeping the ball alive and setting up scoring opportunities.

The match was a testament to the Lady Raiders' skill, determination, and competitive spirit. Their victory over Chatt. State not only highlighted their athletic prowess but also demonstrated their commitment to raising awareness for breast cancer and supporting a worthy cause.
