Bio
Jacob Parton obtained an Associate of Science Degree from Roane State Community College (RSCC) from 2020-2022, where he played golf under Head Coach Chris Griffin. In his second year he earned a spot in the National Championship held in Joplin, Missouri.
After graduating from RSCC, he transferred to Tennessee Wesleyan University (TWU) and played from 2022-2025, obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management and obtaining a Masters of Science in Sports Leadership.
Parton has been around golf for the majority of his life. He enjoys every aspect of the game, especially the competitive side of it. He emphasizes that his true love of competitive golf came from Chris Griffin. Parton was a walk-on in 2020 which pushed him to always drive to be better on and off the golf course, and as an alumni of RSCC Golf he is excited to come back and coach what he has learned from his playing career.
