HALEY LEDFORD EARNS NJCAA SECOND-TEAM ALL-AMERICAN
Roane State volleyball standout Haley Ledford has achieved a historic milestone, being named to the NJCAA Second-Team All-American for her remarkable performance in the 2024 season.
This prestigious honor marks the first time a Roane State volleyball player has earned All-American recognition, solidifying Ledford's place in the program's history.
As the Lady Raiders' co-captain and starting setter, Ledford demonstrated exceptional skill, leadership, and determination throughout the season. She broke the program's career record reaching 1,000 sets and led the team to one of its most successful campaigns.
Her outstanding achievements highlight her dedication to the sport and her role in setting the standard for future players at Roane State.
Reflecting on her accomplishment, Ledford shared, "I've worked very hard for this, but I'm thankful for everyone that helped me along the way – especially my teammates, coaches, and parents."
RSCC Athletics staff said they were extremely proud of Ledford's performance and the recognition she has earned along the way, for herself as well as the Lady Raiders.
"I am very proud that Haley is the first Roane State volleyball Second-Team All-American," Volleyball Head Coach Steve Dallman said. "It has been an honor to coach her as she broke the career sets record and has set the standard for future setters."
Ledford's achievement underscores not only her individual talent but also the growing strength and reputation of the Roane State Volleyball program.
